good ole “Innovation in Africa tips”

The tips presented here make sense, but I always wonder how does one do this without capital? Please someone give me a clue… For me I think access to funding is just as important as actually having it. But yea check em’ out

Ah, the money question. Yes, always a problem, if you are a company looking to succeed in Africa, the tips help. For an individual, finding capital will always be very difficult. Where do you start, who do you speak to and how do you convince them it a good idea.

I guess I more curious to find out who are the venture capitalist in Africa?

Currently I Kiva and am a huge fan of the micro-credit “initiative” but how do we convince an African billionaire like Aliko Dangote, Mo Ibrahim or Nicky Openheimer to distrubute funding in such a way? My father always used to tell me when an elder leads by example it has an amazingly positive effect.

Either way love your blog and thanks for sharing those tips! I think when an idea is so honest and true you never need to convince another it is a good one :)
